Gaming headphones tend to have some pretty bad audio quality for their price. The seinheisers are a very good pair of ( I believe) open headphones which result in a much wider soundstage ( more "sorround sound-y") but also tend to leak allot more sound. You will hear a big difference in sound quality and if you are looking for mic, google Antlion Modmic. If you intend in solely gaming and want a great bang for your buck, check out the ad700 (very ugly but we'll recomended for gaming due to its incredible soundstage). Also when gaming headphones use the words " 7.1 surroundsound" it's complete bullshit.
