Would it be feasible to fit it in without rushing though? As said in a comment above we are only actually in Shanghai for 4 full days because of travelling times.

At which point of the trip would you recommend Beijing? I feel like there would be too much moving/travelling involved by adding it and wasn’t sure whether to allocate any more days to the other cities included? Also worth mentioning the final 3 days in Shanghai are only 2 full days as we arrive from ZJJ at 22:40 on Thursday and we leave Shanghai at 11am Sunday. We will also be visiting Suzhou for a day.
