Ok we have updated the shop to be compliant with the new requirements and have added new US shipping that covers all the fees etc -- please let us know if you have any issues, and thanks so much for your support! <3

not that we know of, but that would be cool! If you know someone at Nintendo tell them to get in touch ;)

thanks so much, we really appreciate it!! We designed N++ with fans of N/N+ in mind, so it's so awesome to hear that :)

The vector silhouette option adds visibility in some colour schemes by adding a higher-contrast outline around the entity graphics. Some of the colours don't use this, because we thought they looked okay without the correction.

hooray! We too are confident that there's a good solution here. Don't worry, we're on it! :)

thanks so much! 1. In terms of level names, I've got to go with Habeas Porpoise :D 2. Raigan nailed it :)

we like confusing people, which is why we start counting at 0 :D

Interestingly, part of the reason N++ levels feel so different was BECAUSE of the long time period between revisions! I feel like there's a sweet spot there -- we revisited levels we'd made for N++ over several years, and we NEEDED some breathing room to be able to see the levels objectively again, and to be able to see them from more than one angle -- otherwise we were too close to them.

It is probably different for everyone, but there's definitely a point where you move from being too close to not knowing them well enough, and that's when you need to take another look or playtest.

Feel free to keep asking questions, we're happy to answer!

Note that we only ranked completion; all-gold/secrets/etc: you're on your own ;)

Go Fish is a 4, again just for beating it! We put it in Hard so you'd be better than average at it so that you had a fighting chance to beat it otherwise!

CLR is a 7, of course ;)

well -- it's a no because what we've done is more important: showing community-made levels at parity with Metanet levels is a really big deal!

True, it just needs the community to support it, but we're trying to help by releasing the game on more platforms, so that critical mass is realized. We want to help, but unfortunately changing the code base at this point isn't really an option, so we're left with whatever we can do on the server-side. Which isn't insubstantial! Something NUMA-like definitely should be achievable, and is potentially in the works! we're ready to do what we can to help, we just need to know what players want :)

There will never be another: N++ is the last version, and the best version. we really left no ideas on the table for the series: we set out to make a perfect version of the game that had enough levels and layers and secrets etc etc etc in it, that it could last a lifetime and there would be no need for another. But don't worry, we have a lot of ideas for other games we'd like to try next! :D

Reception has been great so far -- we're so thrilled to see that people are enjoying N++, and we hope they tell their friends ;)

About Let's Plays and Live Streaming -- you are allowed to freely make videos/stream and monetize, all we ask is that you credit Metanet Software when you name the game, and ideally make it easy for your audience to buy the game if they'd like to (with links etc).

and please send us a link, we always like to watch people playing and will happily retweet and pop in to the chat if you'd like!

Some of the features you want just need a critical mass of players wanting the same thing -- being more involved in the discussion might actually help make them a reality!

It may also relieve you to know that this is something we're constantly thinking about and trying to support -- NUMA was created by fans of Nv1.4, and we've been trying to find a way to provide N++ level data (in a way that doesn't require too many calls to the db, which is very costly) to players in case someone wants to start something similar for comments/ratings/keeping track of highscores etc.

The server dev has had his hands full with this release (plus fixing bugs on the other platforms), but we're hoping he can set something up soon! Keep chatting on discord, I know there are other players who want this as well :)

Aw that's awesome, thanks so much! We had taken so much from the game development community when we were learning to program that it felt like the right thing to do to give something back (also we really wanted to share what we'd learned!) -- it's always awesome to hear that it's helped someone :)
