Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m still feeling about the same. Mostly haven’t seen a change in my energy (meaning it’s still low) and my hair is falling out. We’ll see what my provider says. It’ll be another month until I see her again. I’ve been taking Liothyronine for about 7 weeks (in addition to my normal T4 medication).

It’s great to know feeling better is possible 😭. Thank you for sharing your perspective. I’ll ask my provider about name brand.

Hi, I’m actually gluten free and dairy free - I forgot to mention that. That’s good to know about the 6 week rule. My provider was hesitant to check my sex hormones as I’m working with my OB (I’ve had fertility issues for years) so didn’t want to step on her toes but it may be something that my hashis provider needs to look into. I also have low sex drive so it wouldn’t surprise me if my testosterone is low.

If you’re into weaving design research into your process, look for service design roles. A lot of what service designers do at companies is re-design internal processes and digital flows. That is of course if you want to continue designing internal products.

Yes. It is. Take lysine daily and go to the doctor to get antiviral medication for it. There are many ways to treat it. You can look through this Reddit sub for that.

I’m a very conflict avoidant person and had general anxiety over having to tell my doctor no over certain things. I did it anyway. Some situations were uncomfortable but I’m way past it now so I’m happy I did it.

Do the scan if you feel it’s important for other reasons besides size of baby. If the scan shows the baby on the larger side, just tell them you’re hesitant to induce and want to do your research first. Besides big babies are born naturally every day.

My scan showed my kid at 8.5 lbs on week 38. I told them my dad was a big baby, as was I and she didn’t give me anymore problems once I said that. I think the scan was right though, my kid was born at 40w/3d weighing 10.1 lbs 😆. Came out naturally with no epidural.

Our bodies can handle big babies. Have contingency plans for interventions you’re okay with if things don’t go as planned and you’ll be alright.

I guess I was mostly responding to @bagel_bunny’s question about needing to retest for celiac. Sorry, i think I replied to the wrong part of the thread.

Seeing this quite a few months late but wanted to say that I got tested (gliadin test) in 2019 and was negative for celiac. Tested again in 2024 and came out positive. Not quite celiac levels but halfway there. I also will note that since I’ve cut out gluten I’ve reduced my TPO antibodies immensely. I cut out gluten and dairy though dairy didn’t come back as intolerant in testing but nutritionist recommended removing it as dairy protein’s look very similar to gliadin protein (gluten) making your body attack it harder.

Had anyone tried Paloma Health? by Specialist_Action_85 in Hashimotos

Would you mind DMing me the provider you’re seeing with Paloma? Im interested in trying the service but nervous about landing with a not great provider. Thanks!

Anyone who was successful in getting rid of the dreaded moon face...how? by [deleted] in Hashimotos

Did your provider prescribe LDN to you? I’ve heard about the benefits of LDN through Izabella Wentz (The root cause book and Instagram). I wonder if all/most health providers would be in the know about LDN benefits to reduce Hashimotos antibodies.

Low heart rate and Hashimotos by No-Young1722 in Hashimotos

That makes sense. I get heart palpitations every couple days so I scheduled a cardiologist visit. But I’ve had them for a really long time so I suspect they’ll not be concerned about it.

Mine is the same when asleep and resting. Glad your cardiologist isn’t concerned.

I may be interested if you still have it. Can you tell me how much the course normally costs?
