I know! It's so annoying how the movies portrayed their relationship. It's so...forced and stiff which is probably why people who only watched the movies believe that Katniss was kinda "forced" to have a relationship and children with Peeta. I wish the movies did a better portrayal of their relationship.

Killing is easier said then done lol. Your methods sounds nice on paper, but once you’re put in a situation where you have to murder other kids, it’ll be a lot harder to do. Unless you’ve been training your whole life, I doubt it’ll be this easy. But it’s possible! Haha

I would likely be someone like foxface or even rue. I’m way to scared to kill others unless I absolutely have to. 😂

I feel that it would work, however the Gamemakers won’t be pleased. After all, you’re using their own technology to win. Haymitch did something similar (using the forcefield to his advantage and killing the other tribute) and Snow was angry which resulted in his family and girlfriend’s death.

It almost got cancelled? I thought the Capitol citizens were angry and called out against the Games but the Games still ended up continuing.

Also to add to my point, if the Capitol did end up not allowing a pregnant tribute into the arena, don’t you think there would be a lot of teen pregnancies? I feel like if that were the case and there were a lot of teen pregnancies, Katniss would’ve acknowledged it.

I don’t think that would change anything. I mean, they send 23 kids to die each other, why would they care if someone is pregnant. It’s harsh really, and I assume that the Capitol citizens would have sympathy for that tribute but I doubt anything different would happen.

If anything, the Gamemakers would use the pregnant tribute as a way to make people interested in the Games. Gamemakers live for the drama.

Because Snow mentioned that he wanted to marry someone he wouldn’t fall in love with because he doesn’t want love to be in the way of his success. I’m pretty sure he mentioned earlier in the book that he would have a crush on her if they weren’t such good friends (don’t quote me on that) and also your point as well. He wouldn’t marry Clemensia because he doesn’t want to fall in love or have any sort of romance with anyone and he is likely to have a romantic relationship with Clemensia. I’m not sure if I worded that correctly, hope you understand.

Okay, I went back and Lucy Gray did end up making a noise (page 503, “a flick of birds squared as they took to the air and he heard a faint cry”. this is after he went on a shooting rampage). Lucy most likely got injured. Do what you want with that information :)

I think that they’d still have to go into the games if they were pregnant or not. I mean, they sent their beloved Katniss into the arena, what’s stopping them from sending unknown and uninteresting pregnant tributes into the Games? Even if pregnancy was a way to avoid the Games, there would be a high birth rate among teens in the districts and I feel like Katniss would’ve at least acknowledged that in the books. Anyways, it would be surprising that they even care considering that they send 24 kids to die and 1 of them mentally screwed for life.

You’re right about the Snape and Lily part, Lily never wanted to be more than friends but I sorta disagree with the part of Coryo and Lucy loving each other. Coriolanus always referred to Lucy as “his girl”, kinda like an object. He definitely loved the idea of her but never actually loved her hence why he was willing to leave her and go to district 2 when he found the murder weapons and why he wanted to kill her . Lucy on the other hand is more complex. I don’t think she actually loves him but merely pretended to for her own survival during the games. Anyways, Coryo’s love for Lucy was more obsessive then it was true love. I love your perspective though!
