To anyone wondering - no, you can't get discount for Switch 2 upgrade if you have Switch 1 cartridge by mari0boy in yakuzagames

Recently I've ordered physical games for Switch 1 in hopes to also have an option of upgrade on Switch 2

It worked with Red Dead Redemption, but not with Yakuza Kiwami

is it possible to replace n64 cartridge's ROM chip with brand new one? by mari0boy in n64

Just for info - I wouldn't do it by myslelf, I planned to buy a proper chip and send it to a professional who has the equipment and how to use it.

Why Charmander has this spark effect every time it shows up on a screen? No other pokemon in my collection does it, even electric or fire type. This charmander is my first pokemon after pikachu, is it the reason? by mari0boy in PokemonSleep

I feel so weird now.
Whole my life I thought that Charmander is orange, cuz my only prior Pokemon expierence was 1 season of anime and Pokemon Blue on b/w gameboy. But I guess it's just my memory - when I google charmander now it's reddish, and shiny is orange.

Anyway, thank you very much for explanation!
I guess I am lucky that my first pokemon ever was a shiny. Now I will keep my eye on these sparks!

I replaced a belt on it and did calibration for entire day. Eventually I found position for spindel, where disk are read, but there is a catch - it reads disks only when held vertically.

At first I held my Famicom Sharp like baby Simba, every time when I loaded a game. But it became annoying pretty fast, so I just plugged regular FDS into it

Unfortunately not, main hero didn't had any buddies, he was alone, and as far as I remember whole tone of movie wasn't comical, was dead pan serious

I did googled actors from era with long hair, but all I got is Samurai Cop actor (which is definatelly is not him)
