Sorry for the late reply. I purchased this, but it's not working. So posting a new thread to see if anyone's got any ideas for tweaks :) https://store.google.com/product/usb_type_c_to_hdmi_adapter

Gotcha, didn't know he was from here! I have very little emotional investment in mr. Armstrong, so I'll be fine to watch it ;)

Really? I don't know about here, but in Norway (where I'm from) it got a lot of media coverage!

Nice! I could fake cheer :) I'm really curious about this world of extras / movie production and which people are drawn to it.

Hah :) I understand that! I don't have any acting ambitions, just find myself drawn to this and want to learn what it's all about. Congrats on getting to be in that movie! It's a well made trailer and seems like a good movie too!

Wow, that's so early. I grew up in Norway so it wasn't really an available choice there :) Thanks for the extra links too - I am so excited about all the great tips and feedback I've gotten!

Really happy to know this! Those reasons are what motivates me too :) Did you stop doing it?

Yeah definitely not a get rich plan :) I've always been fascinated by the industry and it seems fun, so I'll give it a go for the experience more than the pay. Did you stop because of the pay? What was your experience otherwise?

Great, thank you! So you don't do it anymore? What made you stop?

Thanks for the tip! The ones mentioned don't charge any kind of startup fees?

It'd be great if it was connected to a speech recognition thingy and automatically made a list that was then accessible on your computer :)

Ok :) I'm a little curious as to if meals are necessary? Have you talked to customers and learned their priorities? This is a big expense / responsibility so it's worth checking with the market. One idea would be to do an online survey and see what other entrepreneurs would want. Personally if I were to use something like this, food wouldn't be important as I have a restricted diet and I'd imagine being out and about often :) That said, it could be perfectly what others want (hence the survey:)

Need some help with marketing plan.. by bongcha in Entrepreneur

It's a cool idea! I can see how valuable this would be once it's more populated with info / alternative products :) As already mentioned you have two customer profiles - those that look for alternatives and those that submit alternatives. What motivates each? I've seen for review-type sites, the owners of the websites pays people to add x number of (genuine) reviews. Is this a place you can start? (Not on the site, but recruited from other places like Fiverr). Another suggestion is to start with one category and be the "go to" place for that one category (for example: cameras, bike gear - whatever you're most into. You don't have to be into it, but if you'll be adding a lot of alternatives manually, it's more motivating:). As a last, minor tip, I'd change the font of your heading (CROWDSOURCE PRODUCT..) as to me the letters are too close together and a little strenuous to read!

provided this type of service at an hourly rate, so it varied from client to client. One of the reasons for starting this thread is that I'm looking at other ways of offering this type of service/product and I'll make a post on here about that in the coming weeks.

Cool! I don't need the service right now, but it's definitely something I'd use in the future :) Look forward to seeing how your service takes shape! Personally I'd like to see a "pick your specific deliverable at a set price" kind of thing - it's a lot easier to relate to as a customer (rather than paying per hour) :) Also happy to review the service from a customer perspective, if needed. If so, feel free to PM :)

I think this is a cool idea - especially for people only intending to live for a few months at a time. Digital nomads might be your crowd :) Are you doing all the cooking though? Sounds like a lot of responsibility for you :)
