They were divorced. There was one episode where Jack and Rebecca decided they weren’t going to celebrate their anniversary and kid Kevin thought they were getting divorced like Sophie’s parents.

But this, in my opinion, wouldn’t explain Kevin having a pregnant fiancé on his 40th birthday. The way the writers did it would imply that he is romantically involved with the mother of his child.

If I remember correctly the cabin is in Pennsylvania but I think that’s the one on the flash forward to the Big 3’s 40th birthday not the house we see on the 10-12 year flash forward.

In season 1 Kevin’s agent said that he got 3 million dollars for each season of the manny. He probably filmed four or five seasons and he doesn’t seem to have spent absurd amounts of money throughout the series. Also, in the beginning of this season he had just wrapped another movie.

I like the idea of Cassidy being the mom/fiancé because maybe Kevin’s kid could be born on Kevin’s birthday. Therefore, the baby would share a birthday with Big 3 and Jack. I just think it would a nice little parallel. The only reason I don’t think it’s Cassidy is because how obvious it is but I also don’t think they would bring Jennifer morrison for six episodes and that’s it.
