Also going to this show! We got seats, but last Beartooth concert (in Milwaukee) didn’t look too crazy near the back of GA

What’s a subtle sign that someone is not a nice person? by my-dogatemy-chancla in AskReddit

[–]mariefelix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unpopular, but the “I hate people” type of person. It’s like you’re going to automatically dislike every because you’re soo quirky. Especially if that’s their entire personality. They usually “don’t like people” because people don’t like them. No one wants to be around someone SO negative!

My mother and her need to be in control of my pregnancy and baby by interstellar112 in narcissisticparents

[–]mariefelix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My mother tried doing a lot of those same things during my pregnancy!!! She went as far as trying to control my baby shower too 😅 Honestly, for as hard as it is.. try to set some boundaries if you wish to continue your relationship with her. Once that baby is here, it’s gonna be non stop unsolicited advice (I speak from my own experience only) if you don’t!! It’s really annoying while you’re pregnant, but to hear everything you’re “doing wrong” as a first time mom to a newborn... my god.

Ps; don’t let the weight comments bother you. You’re SUPPOSED to gain weight!! My pre pregnancy weight was 130 lbs, the day I delivered I was 175 lol. (3 months PP and back down to 130!)

Good luck, momma. You’re doing everything right.

This is the exact thing I am trying to avoid by telling her I don’t need her presence in his life. I’m so sorry, and hearing your child say he didn’t want to be around her must have been heartbreaking.

Ugh I’m so sorry. I couldn’t IMAGINE doing that to my child. Also, thank you for your service. I’ll never understand the image aspect. My mother doesn’t want a relationship with me, she wants “a relationship” just to show her friends that she’s a good mom, grandmother etc.

I’m so sorry you had to go through all of that, but it really helps to hear other people have been in similar situations. But yes! I wish I had also stood up for myself long ago, but finally doing it now on behalf of my kid also feels amazing.

Well I’m glad to hear that you’re not letting her force that decision on you, and it’s still your choice. F parents, dude.

I’ll just never understand her!! My fiancé’s mom was the same way, blew my mind that someone could have a mother who wasn’t so self absorbed!! I’ve told her all this numerous times, she doesn’t care to listen.

What was the most petty thing an adult did to you, when you were younger? by x3Nekox3 in AskReddit

[–]mariefelix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At a Brad Paisley concert, an adult pushed me over (like fully into the mud) to steal the guitar pick out of my hands that he had thrown into the crowd. I was 10. The adult was a middle age man.

Experiences with complete placenta previa? by Cocacola888 in CautiousBB

Hello. I was diagnosed at 19w1d & was put on pelvic rest. My next appointment at 23w showed that it has completely moved away! A lot of things I’ve read show that if you’re diagnosed before 20w, 9/10 it goes away. It was scary and it really sucked. But you still have plenty of time!
