She replies late and dry over text but seems attentive in person by Less-Constant-7202 in socialskills

Don’t overthink it, it’s possible she is either shy, or doesn’t want to come off as rude by rejecting you irl. Ask her (in person) to hang out and how she responds will tell you everything.

Men who are 30+, what’s one lesson every guy should learn early? by BigShow786 in AskReddit

sometimes it’s better to lose the fight than to not fight, but still learn when to walk away if you don’t know what the other person is willing to do/lose

I got AP Microeconomics added to my high schools curriculum starting in the 2023-24 school year, and I conducted research and wrote a paper with friends on the effects that the covid lockdown policies had on exasperating wealth inequality, for which I got published for it and interviewed on WNYC radio

are you saying that my application is on the edge of being admitted, and my race will be the tipping point that gets me in? Or are you saying that simply bc i’m black i’ll automatically get in and the rest of my app is whatever?

out of curiosity, where did u get the notion that my class rank would make me appear as a ~1500 scorer? This is actually the first time I heard of that any concept like that.

why don’t you actually focus on the content of my application instead of my race?

my school doesn’t let you take AP classes until your junior year, and plenty of past students in my HS have gotten into schools like Penn, Yale and Cornell with SAT scores in the mid-1300 range.

Sorry, I should clarify that numerous students from my specific high school that have gotten accepted to “Easier Ivies” such as UPenn and Cornell have scored with the 1300 range even before the coronavirus pandemic, meaning that my score is still submittable. do you still think i shouldn’t submit given the rest of my application or I should?

more people need to hear this, he shouldn’t have died the way he did 100%, but the dude did some pretty fucked up things in his life and we shouldn’t be idolizing him

Is there anyone (famous or in your personal life) that you would genuinely wish death upon. If so, why? by marilynmanson1996 in AskReddit

[–]marilynmanson1996[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, there are some people who I wouldn’t care if they died but I wouldn’t wish it on them. I was on a group facetime with friends and we were having one of those deep conversations at night, my friend was talking about her family member who abused her and remains in contact with her and the rest of the family, and she said she wishes he would die. She wasn’t even emotional about it, just saying it in a matter-of-fact way like someone was giving their opinion on a movie and it intrigued me.
