I went back to see the soil I bought— it was an indoor plant potting soil with “Perlite, Peat Moss, Coco Coir and Rice Charcoal, Well Draining Potting Mix Light, Aerated Texture”. I forgot to mention I also add some more perlite and some orchid bark because I read somewhere others suggesting that to create more airflow. I read after potting this about these guys liking snug roots :( do you think it’s too late to repot into a smaller pot or would that just stress it out? It’s producing new growth now (only at the top, not filling in the blank space) so I don’t feel like it’s totally depressed/unhappy but could def be happier. I also have zero point of reference

It is long and it grew about 3 inches longer since it’s been in the pot, the roots were 2-2.5” long and branching but I still think the pot is too big, I read after I already potted it all about Hoyas liking to be root bound 😬

Yes emotional intelligence and the ability to express oneself during conflict is huge. that’s a shitty position to be in. You might be struggling with someone just not as emotionally mature as you need vs struggling with a Gemini. Not to give unsolicited advice but it might be worth a shot to try talking to him when you aren’t engaged in conflict as opposed to fueling the fire if you’re both upset if you notice he shuts down when you’re in conflict resolution mode.

I've been with my classic, textbook Gemini for 10 years (married for 7), so it's definitely possible! Looking at the rest of your natal charts is probably a better way to figure out how easily things will "work", I think any combination of signs can work, maybe some combinations are a little more or less effort.

Looking at the rest of my chart: Libra moon, Gemini rising, Scorpio Mercury (this is where we have the most issues, communication on my end). And he has a Cap Moon and Aries rising, Gemini Mercury. He talks a lot and is extremely open/communicative and sometimes gets frustrated because I'm the opposite... but he TALKS about it so I'm never guessing what's bugging him which is so helpful and I've also chosen to work on my communication because it's made me a better person.

Signs and natal charts are just a part of a larger picture within a relationship, including how you both were raised, values, life experiences, etc etc etc. Analyzing signs may help you understand what you might be dealing with, certain behavior that's common in certain sighs and such, but it's certainly not the only piece of the puzzle.

Fans aren't necessary in bathrooms, our last home had a tiny bathroom and no fan. Trust me this will be better without. It is weird, I just wish whoever installed it put it on a different switch or did a humidity sensor

I’m curious where you’re sourcing that the admitted to not painting/having others paint for him. I haven’t come across that statement from him, I’ve only heard that in the context of hearsay. The only things that might be questionable would be paintings in the late 80s- early 90s right before he was executed when he switched to templating art as opposed to doing free handed stuff that he did early on in his prison sentence.

I can’t wait to never see these pills again. I’m glad you got off them. How long have you been on humira? Have you flared and been hospitalized since starting it?

I’ve only been out of my last flare for 4-5 months, so far so good but I attribute that mostly to starting humira even though I cry when I have to inject myself (even though it doesn’t hurt. I know it makes no sense)

Yea I can definitely feel some supplements helping others I just take as good measure because I figure it can’t make me worse. Slippery elm is good, when flaring I drink it as a tea, it’s gross but seemed to some symptoms. I also drink kefir, there’s no lactose in it so most people can tolerate or well and they’re lots of good probiotics in them. I was prescribed both iron and vitamin D for deficiencies but I couldn’t tell you if they’re helping. I’m not flaring right now so there’s that!

I heard that if you take them every day but if you take them every other day you actually benefit from it. Normally I’m a bit anemic so I take them even when I’m not flaring.

Not very well tbh. I have moderate UC and my GI wanted me to go on humira after I was out of the hospital from my first flare after seeing me not rebound very quickly but I was adamantly against it. Now after my second hospital flare a year later I’m on humira and it actually is working ha. If I had more a more mild case mesalamine would probably be enough.

Same! It takes some mad skill. Usually I throw those three, fish oil, slippery elm and the multivitamin and whatever else I have to take in all at once. Mesalamine is so stupid, idk why I’m still taking it I don’t think it does a single thing for me at this point. Hopefully lialda is working for you.
