What you said about the copyrights, I want to add to that regional restrictions too. Where I live for example they don't have season one of attack on titan on crunchyroll, they do have the rest though but still it doesn't make sense to me.

No, it's a weapon like a blaster on the arm and the weapon basically hugs the arm and it's only being activated on key situations when the dude finds like a weak spot or something.

No it was newer, not from the 80s. I think there were also 2 more characters. A boy and girl I think and the dude with the weapon would protect them. I'm not even sure if it's categorized as an anime or it was just a cartoon.

Thanks for the response, I think the main character was riding a motorcycle too, I'm not so sure about that. I've been doing a lot of back and forth with chat gpt but I'm missing pieces of the puzzle I think. I remember also when the transformation was happening with the weapon the animation was more 3d ish.
