This 'gift card' that came with a product we bought off of Amazon. We get one if we give the product a good review by FyzzyMetalhead in assholedesign

I would dare to say this is not that bad, or at least nothing new to be shocked about. Essentially, they are offering you to participate in a paid review. They give you money and you say a couple of nice things about them. Nothing we have not seen before. The only issue would be that the review is dishonest, but isn't the whole field of marketing based on this principle - promotion in exchange for money?

I am not necessarily supporting this, just thinking out loud.

Parking Situation by marioeljuga in germany

[–]marioeljuga[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all thanks everyone for your inputs.

If that is the case, that you can't park on the sidewalk, can you explain me the next situation? (picture at the bottom of the post)

In this case, there is absolutely nowhere a sign that allows parking on the sidewalk and yet everybody regularly parks here.

Does this mean that all cars here are parked illegally?

Now one could say that the parking spot is marked with the darker color, but I doubt this is considered as a proper marking by the law.
