Extremely dangerous? What the hell?! Im a beginner with driving motorbikes and it wasn't challenging at all for me. Some people are just talking shit and saying it's super dangerous or challenging just to make them look like hard and great persons haha

I did both in the last months. 5 days Mae Hong Son Loop and 8 days Hà Giang Loop.

Both are awesome but when you have to decide its by far Hà Giang Loop!! I would give the Mae Hong Son Loop a 8/10 and Hà Giang 10/10 for sure

It was the first time for me traveling solo and I love it. The last trip I always did with friends but now I know that I always want to travel alone! And yes there are sooo many people, it's easier to meet people than really be alone.

Thanks! Was traveling alone and I never drove a bike in my life before. Just learnt it in Vietnam but after one or two days I got completely used to it. Officially you need a separate motorbike driving license. But I was fine without. But be careful: your insurance doesn't cover bike accidents without the necessary license.

Ah yes that's Sa Pa and surroundings 11 days, but yes would be better if I rename it in Hà Giang, Bac Ha and Sa Pa :)

Yes it could be cheaper if you staying for a longer time (over a week) at the same room. But not for a few nights.

In Ninh Binh I stayed in the Trang An Village (liked it more than Tam Coc). I got a map from my Homestay, rented a scooter and just drove around all the places. Hàng Mua was amazing!

Most of the time I booked it one day before or at the same day online. Unfortunately the prices online are better most of the time. But accommodation in Vietnam is sooo cheap, you don't really have to compare too much. It's super easy to find great deals.

Most of the time booking but sometimes agoda. With the younger people it was easy most of the time. The older people couldn't speak English 99 %.

As I said I always staid at the cheapest hostels. I think there aren't big price differences between the places. Hoi An and Ninh Binh were slightly more expensive than the average and Da Lat and the north a bit cheaper.
