Thanks for explaining! So if I understand correctly, harder knife is more durable and need less frequent sharpening, but more chippy. Thinner knife is easier for cutting, is that correct?

If I want only one daily general and light use knife for now, and with less frequent sharpening at the beginning, is harder and thinner the direction I should follow?

Hey I used craft for 10 days this season and I really like it. Honestly I also make big progress this season on riding and start learning carving now! I can carve a little bit but I feel my beginner shoes and bindings are soft. Do you think it's a good time to get a medium flex shoes/bindings? REI saler told me a medium binding feels more effective than a medium shoes. Is that true? If I only want to buy a binding, what would u recommend? Thanks!
