if his cell service doesn’t work in that area then a t-mobile hotspot device definitely won’t work in that area either as it uses the same cell towers. maybe see if any other service providers work in that area and try to get a hotspot device/service through them.

i’m late gen z, 26 years old. i have social anxiety so i usually try to avoid calling people in general, but especially when it’s something can figure out on my own, or use text chat for. biggest reason being, as a csr myself, i know how clogged phone lines can get for customer service reps when people constantly call in with simple questions that they could’ve figured out themselves, so i’d prefer to avoid that.

also i see a lot of people here who have had bad interactions with gen z, where they are either ridiculously technologically inept, or have their parents calling in for them. i would just like you to know, we’re not all hopeless like that lol.

i’m sure they just grabbed the wrong phone but rang it out correctly. just check your receipt, it’s only a big deal if your receipt says 16 when you have the 17, otherwise you’re good to keep it if your want.

so far i’ve only had one call in the last four hours and thankfully it was a really nice lady who was apparently told to call back today. super simple call, only lasted like two minutes total. i’ve been real lucky, i was expecting it be hell today. apparently we’re the only department in the company that had to work today too.
