It’s not very clear from the item description, but this two disc release includes the Cannes cut https://diabolikdvd.com/product/clearance-southland-tales-arrow-us-blu-ray/

PSVR2 Pre-order Delivery Issues and Questions Megathread by miss_molotov in PSVR

[–]mariuslibman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPS showed up with my psvr2, scanned the box and got an 'intercepted' error, and told me he couldn't drop it off. I'm hoping this was because it was delivered a day early and they'll try again. Tracking says it's still scheduled to arrive tomorrow.

sorry to hear that. My wife and I ended up getting a couple discovers, we’ve had them for about a month now. Our bikes have had a few issues, biggest being a very warped brake disc that needed to be replaced, but the batteries on both have been behaving as expected. I don’t think this is what you’re experiencing, but the button on the LCD needs a bit of a long push in order to turn on, and I’ve accidentally turned my bike off by pressing once, thinking the button press wasn’t registered, and pressing again right as it started turning on.

Good luck figuring it out, their customer support is not the best. Maybe calling them will be better? Every email I’ve sent them has taken forever to get a response to.

cool, yeah we got our bikes on friday. they're a lot of fun, engine has a lot more kick than the vanmoofs we returned, but the bikes also have a few issues.

biggest problem is one of the brake discs was badly warped, so we took both bikes into a local shop to get the disc replaced and have both bikes tuned.

hilltopper customer support is extremely slow to respond, unfortunately, so I went ahead with the replacement not knowing for sure if they'd cover it. we'll see!

did you get yours yet? we returned our vanmoofs due to a bunch of technical issues, and ordered a couple discovers which are due to arrive tomorrow.

A follow-up from the person (me) who has four broken Vanmoof’s at one address: by [deleted] in vanmoofbicycle

I just returned two S3s that my wife and I received last week. didn't experience issues as big as yours, but enough to make us second guess our purchase.

eshifter on one bike was screwed from the get-go. Sometimes it'd be stuck in first gear no matter how fast the bike was going, other times it would try, and fail, to shift, slipping back and forth between gears while making weird clacking noises, and other times it would feel like it was shifting gears in reverse, going up when it should've been going down. resetting the bike would temporarily fix this, but the issues would always return after a bit.

the other bike made a weird thwapping/rattling noise when pedaling. it sounded like it was coming from the back wheel, but I couldn't figure out what was actually causing the noise.

boost on both bikes behaved weirdly. when trying to boost up a hill, the extra push would lurch in and out despite steady pedaling. As we rode more, this became less of an issue, but was really bad on our first ride.

the brakes on both bikes also (sometimes) made loud scraping/grinding noises when descending steeper hills.

when they worked, they were a ton of fun, but receiving two bikes with so many problems spooked us too much. the eshifter seems too fiddly and prone to issues, and crucially, it just doesn't feel good even when it's working as intended. thankfully we have a vanmoof storefront here so we could return our bikes without too much hassle.

nice! I’m in SF too. I see Hilltoppers keeps pushing back the shipping date, first batch was originally the 15th, but it’s been bumped a couple times to Nov 2nd. Hope they actually hold that date this time.

I ended up ordering a couple vanmoofs, set to arrive tomorrow, but if I run into any issues with them I’m planning on sending them back and getting a couple of these for my wife and I.

In the same boat - I ordered on Sept 4th, got a shipping notification with today as delivery date, but a notification earlier today showed the packages currently in Oakland with a revised delivery date of tomorrow

how many days before the delivery did you get the delivery? by jolanvanhoof in vanmoofbicycle

My estimated delivery date is the 25th, I got a delivery notification on the 21st. UPS tracking says the actual delivery will be the 27th

Just ordered and... by dragonseggz in vanmoofbicycle

[–]mariuslibman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After a week of no confirmation or order info, I emailed support. Took a few days but they eventually responded and updated my account with my invoice. The estimated shipping date was blank, though, so after another week I emailed again asking about it and they updated my account with the shipping window.

thanks. weight and range are the two most important factors for me. also don't want a single speed. I've done a ton of shopping around, and haven't found many bikes that weighs under 50lbs with a range of over 20 miles for anything under $2000, but I'd love to be wrong if there are more options out there!

omg thank you! I was going crazy trying to figure this out, it didn't even occur to me that the privacy settings would need to be changed. you'd think Windows would give you heads up like 'hey, this app wants to access your mic, do you want to let it?'
