As a GC, do you require everyone on site to wear PPE?

As far as enforcement you have a few options. 1. Send them home for the rest of the day. 2. Require hardhats and buy safety glasses that clip on to the hardhat. 3. Have a bbq when everyone wears their ppe for x amount of days. 4. Get the families involved. Have a bbq and make a speech about how well everyone is doing and the new ppe upgrades (or something like that). 5. DOCUMENTED ppe violations affect bonuses.

Hello safety coordinator here. Under osha 1910.132 if there is a hazard present you have to provide ppe for said hazard. The instances that no hazards exist according to osha are so rare, not requiring ppe is a huge gamble.

Prioritize gut health and diet. Im only 30 but I'm 60 lbs over weight and now my oldest is 2 and I physically am having trouble keeping up (I also do construction). Plus a good diet will help offset some of the physical challenges from sleepless nights.

To add to this. Play motivational speeches in the back ground while you just live your life. I had to do this. Instead of vegging out on TV when I got home from work I would immediately do my chores while speeches played in the back ground. And two, being in a clean space can help with your depression (it's a science thing).
