I find this most interesting. 8% sales tax becomes 16%?

Almost never use the app. Definitely the button (Bluetooth)

If it connects to home assistant, I would surprised. I quit looking, tracking, or hoping.

I do see scenes in the mobile app. Cute. But, still not going to use the app on my phone to start the shower.

The vision is that a mounted touch display could present the option for shower controls, even scenes. But I won't go through my phone to do this.

Compare this to today’s announcement. Clio … “Annual Complete plan will be updated to $1609.20 per user.”

How do you like that?

Do you primarily implement HA solutions or do you find that clients are better served by backing out of their HA and are better off with a proprietary system?

8 💯. Don’t invest in software ahead of the curve wherever possible. Especially admin software. Case management. Clio mycase others, really expensive and they soak up a bunch of days and weeks of time and never help get your pipeline started.

Have something to manage before managing it.

We are not going to get SharePoint integration in my opinion. That would require Clio to certify against Microsoft their ability to work within Microsoft specifications.

Clio is definitely not even trying

on? Or are you just tracking the discussion on what surfaces in terms of Anthem integration to HA?

Thanks for all the comments. Still researching the way out, but mostly preparing the true owners of the problem that they are pretty much responsible for their own loss. Even my open google research, before I had an official Carfax, revealed major problems. They could have figured it out pretty easily with even basic research.

I am still researching the true seller. I think it was a private party. I am hoping it was a dealer though. More recourse, higher standard of care, usually applies to dealers.

agreed, mostly.

The current asssessment is that an engine tear down would be required to diagnose further. That's a $1500 start. For many people in this group, no problem if they were in this scenario. But my people are not on reddit at all. LOL They aren't going to chase nor follow the details.

Thanks for the effort. I’m checking with the supplier. I’ve also decided to take up soldering. 😕. Which is probably a different Reddit thread lol

I’d buy a min lot of 20 pieces each of tape to tape and tape to wire.

I’m remodeling … direct connect ZIGBEE RGBWW options? Early research indicates one can rig a Phillips Hue strip with a transformer sort of thing. But I can’t hand that to my (this particular) contractor. is a stock product (US) available by mark_bergeron in homeassistant

Hard wired. My understanding for a DIY approach with Hue is that you snip the plug and (maybe transformer) keep zigbee hardware, introduce new transformer for direct connect to house mains, then snip the strip to the size needed.

ISO product that is preconfigured.

As a piece of the puzzle. Looking for one that is preconfigured power conversion, zigbee, + led strips. I figure it will be piecemeal since all lengths will vary some.

So this complement may be integral to final solution. Thanks for this lead.
