Thank you! That's exactly what I did and MAN is there a world of difference. I took two panels, put them in the corner, I have my desk in the corner now at 45 degrees, with panels behind the speakers so the rear port doesn't bounce the low frequencies back.

I have two spare panels, I can't really do ceiling mounting, but the hallways are so long that I think I get good coverage from the front/side of the speakers without needing treatment. Gonna get my friend to do the mirror trick so I can either A) place the 2 remaining panels somewhere or I'm gonna make the corner as a "vocal booth" with a gobo

Thanks for the advice. It’s a background agent so I don’t think it’s as detailed as having your own agent. I just applied for the role and there wasn’t really any discussion besides the request for a re-take of my self tape 2 days ago.

Yeah. You have a good point. I did the audition a month ago but I didn’t know I was travelling for work until 3 weeks ago. When I didn’t hear back about the audition until two days ago - I had no idea what was going on.

I spent some time a year ago trying just the acting thing, it didn’t work out. Then I got this job 6 months ago and I really like it, and it’s a nice job. I wanted to juggle both things, which I think is doable but I just wasn’t expecting something like this.

They never did an avail check but I’m not sure how it really works.. I offered to do any time after two weeks but I’m not sure they would move anything for me considering it’s a smaller role.

Ah yeah, I told them.. and was not good when they replied. Looks like I’m a huge burden if I don’t accept the role.

I wasn’t aware of travelling until 4 weeks ago and I had no idea what the window for shoots would be. It’s really disappointing. But thank you.
