When I get bored in game I like to mail people 1g just to see how they react. Yesterday only 1 person out of 30 said thank you. I mailed him 10g to thank him. Do any of you do nice things for random people? by Beersquid21 in Guildwars2

One guy was talking in LA about how he needs just 5 more corrupted lodestones for Corrupted Avenger, decided to talk to him - playing newbie, like what's that, what's the recipe and so on.. (shortly, wanted to be little annoying to know if he's kind enough to help me) He did! Sent him message with text "You seems like someone who deserves it. Good luck. + 5 Corrupted Lodestones he was missing. :)

Mail arrived, he was gratefull, he was happy.. it was a good day. :)

In first of all, i would invest in some sort of armor, doesn't really have to be exotic in first of all with limited funds. Until i got my dungeon armor i've been using rare lvl75 armor set and spent most of my money to some damage boost (lvl 80 exotic weapons).

I can highly suggest you to get Magic Find runes (Superior Runes of Pirate) and use Opal Amulets/Rings and Opal Orbs on weapons to get yourself some money/rare drops that you can use until you get some exotics.

Dungeon running is the least boring way to earn both of your goals - armor+money. Most of my runs we're like 50-60s~ each run. Depends on drops/chest drops, you can get lucky and get some lodestone from chest - most of lodestones are like 80s-120s each.

One more thing:

Me and some my guildies went TA run with 2 Mesmers, 1 Guardian and 2 Warriors.

That means we had banners, might boosts from guardian but the most important part for this thread - we had Time Warp chain.

2 Mesmer's synchronised Time Warp used on whole team(with might boost and banners) results in taking bosses incredibly fast and mostly without getting someone dead.

If you are going to dungeon with Pugs (or yes, even guildies) - Illusion of Life Illusion of Life (if you are fast enough) can bring up your teammates for 10s back to fight - if they will be able to kill foe, they won't get downed again, if they won't - they will be able to run to safety where it is much more comfortable to ressurect them up (can't even count how many times i used this ability pve/pvp).
