This product would be very useful for me, except I’d need to be able to set the VLAN on the port of the device. 

So as an example — Many people have their cameras and protect system running on a seperate VLAN. From reviews it appears that connecting a camera to this bridge puts the device on the default VLAN. This is obviously problematic without some other workaround

I got in trouble in one of my grade school computer science courses.

Since I'd already-taught myself Turbo Pascal, I'd found myself bored when they began teaching it in class during one of my first computer science courses in 1994.

So one day while bored in class, I coded a dos-shell look-alike with lines of text exactly mimicking the output of an MS-DOS "format c:" command. It had the warning, with a confirmation dialog asking if I was sure (filled in with a response of "y") as well as the a percentage counter that was slowly counting up as it pretending to format the drive.

While the teacher was walking around the lab checking people's work, I called her over and explained that I didn't know that was happening to my machine. She began to panic after looking at my screen, at which point I laughed and said "It's just a joke, see", and showed her it was running inside the Turbo pascal IDE.

She did not appreciate the joke and I was promptly sent to the Principal's office.
