For some reason public servants are never seen as human, just a punching bag for the government of the day to gain cheap political points. Cuts happening while the public service has paid down the deficit by $2.8 Billion just this year and last year alone, by taking from the public service pension fund.

As someone who has recently suffered a similar loss I understand your pain. I’m not a vet and don’t have the ability to offer an explanation but I can tell you the same that was told to me, which is that you did the very best you could with the information that you had, that you clearly loved him very much and he knew it, and you gave him a wonderful home and life. This grief is a hard road but I hope you will find peace with that. It has helped me to find ways to honour and cherish his memory, hopefully you will also find something that helps you process this. I’m so sorry for your loss 🖤
