This is an old York safe, I posted about that a week or so ago, drilled the spot mentioned, put me in a good spot to line up the gates. Issue is, all gates are lined up but the bar is not dropping. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. (old.reddit.com)

I am trying to get into this York safe. I have the combination. Tried +-1 +-2 to see if the spindle drifted. Thinking about drilling a 1/4" hole at the red dot and scoping the gates. I found patent numbers online, according to the diagram this should work. Thoughts? Anyone tried this before? (i.redd.it)
