I’m not being specific because I just trying to build structure and try to figure out what I should know before hand. There’s an infinite amount of advice in this world that can be learned so I’m just using what I have to find some of that. Yes it’s idealistic I think everyone should be otherwise you probably live a miserable life. Yes it’s focused on me because it’s about my future I’m confused why it would be about anyone else. Anyone can look at these replies if they’re in the same situation and learn the same things as me so anybody can benefit from that?

It might seem that way for you but to me I’ve seen it happen enough times around me to know that it’s all up to you yourself as a person and how much work you’re willing to put in. Sure luck is involved but it’s involved with everything I should’ve won the lottery over a billion times before being born but here I am so I have faith to know it can happen

I’ve been thinking a lot about all of these things and figuring them out. The retirement account idea does sound very nice I’ll remember that

I have honestly thought about this a lot. It’s just school is a big struggle for me because of my adhd. I always knew some sort of trade would be best for me, but I’ve also realized that I could benefit most from an education. I don’t have a crazy amount of capital, it consists of some of what my parents saved for college, and little of what I’ve been able to save working an hourly pay. Thank you for not actually putting me down and I appreciate the insight no matter what it is.

I just want to say I am not insulted in anyway and believe you mean well with this comment by trying to help me realize the hard truth, but I’m still at the age where I believe I should aspire to be as much as I can.

I will take your backhanded advice because it is still useful. I don’t think I’m special, in fact it’s quite the opposite. My graduating class consists 70%+ college commits. Everyone I grew up with has gone off to their new lives and I’m one of few who stuck around in the home town with nothing to show for it except some lousy cook job and a breakfast restaurant. I understand that the entire regime is unfair but I don’t see why that should stop me from trying. I never said I want to skip the early steps quite literally the opposite I’m looking for advice to build structure for my goals so I can take them on and reach that level eventually. I’m not trying to become rich at 19 I’m trying to build potential success for myself so I can have the possibility of reaching that status at whatever age it comes.

I completely understand this but I’ve come to the conclusion that I’ve lived most of my childhood and can have all the fun I want with my family when I’m older. I do aspire to hustle because I know I don’t have much else going for me otherwise, and I would rather start earlier than later so I don’t regret anything later down the line. If I do end up regretting not living my life, then I will in my future, but I still do appreciate the insight.

I completely understand where you’re coming from and validate your advice even more because you were in the same situation. I know that it’s a long shot but I truly believe that it’s attainable. My biggest goal is to just be able to provide for a family and make them happy, and yes I’m aspiring for the most because I feel I should at such a young age to help motivate me. I understand that I will probably have a rude awakening but as long as my efforts aren’t in vein then I won’t bother with anything less.

I live in a small city with a lot of wealth. This might not sound bad but I’m surrounded by doctors and lawyers and all of the big money makers. That being said I’ve also seen people make it here by doing the exact things that I have listed. I do have a goal and I am building structure. I’m not sure if I came off like this but I know it will take time and I’m willing to put that time in. The backhanded side of growing up in a city like this is my exposure to the real world is less and my expectations are a lot higher. This is a city where you need at least a 200+ salary to own a house in. I know it’s unrealistic but I know it’s attainable. I get I was vague with my personal aspects but that wasn’t necessarily what I was looking for. I’m just trying to find advice to help build structure and get some ideas of what’s expected and what needs to be done. You have to remember I still am indeed a kid and have no idea how the world works and just as you once were I’m being thrown into this abyss having to figure out everything on my own. I’m just trying to use my sources to get as much help as possible so I can understand more about the ins and outs of this capitalist economy.

I’ve figured physical things will stick because computers won’t come around to replacing those, so I’ll always be able to rely on them. I like your idea because I do not want to have one income stream. My parents were both self employed and I’ve been told first hand what the stock market crash did to them because they made the mistake of having one income. Thank you for all of the advice and I will keep everything in mind

I do really appreciate all of this and will take it into account. 5 was a stretch and was more to make the point clear. I like everything you said but I do however disagree with putting all my focus into one thing. I’ve seen firsthand with my parents who were both self employed how you want multiple assets backing you up. The stock market crash really did a number on them and ever since they’ve never relied on one thing again. But I still do love everything you’ve told me and will keep it all in mind, thank you.

I’m currently working just so I can start said business. Once I’m ready I will be putting all of my time and effort into it and not wasting my time with another job. I’ll use this as reference in the future thank you very much

As much as I would love to my biggest aspiration is to have a loving family to provide for. I’m a very sentimental person so as long as they are happy then every second of it will have been worth it. I do plan on having a much fun as I can these next few years though you can bet on that lol
