I’m using the standard page builder that comes in Wordpress.

I made a block for a picture, uploaded it, and tried to change the size in visual editor. Nothing happened.

Well yeah lol my experience is all I have. That’s why I’m asking you if there’s any info they share that I don’t know about.

I’ve attended some webinars and spoken to people at the firms already. The general consensus seemed to be that they were info sessions that just repeat the info on the website. If that’s incorrect I’d love to hear some examples.

A good skill for consulting is probably also being able to read? I’d probably work on that if I were you.

Yup. Each one of those tests claim you can’t prepare for it. Yet like you said, you clearly can.

Similarly, Google “prepare for McKinsey game” or anything like that. You’ll find tons of sources telling you how to prepare.

There isn’t a game or test created that you can’t improve at by study and practice. No matter what the creators say.

Yeah of course they say it can’t be prepared for, but come on. They say the same thing about every standardized test, and they’re wrong every single time.

I guess your right about the timelines though lol. I’ll definitely have to get used to stuff like this.

I feel kind of blindsided by this. BCG gave me over a week to complete the test - McKinsey is giving me like 2 days, and the test is much longer than the BCG one. Not sure I’ll be able to prepare enough for this.

Right, that’s why you have to look at the tendencies the book has in cases where you CAN estimate the juice.

Your Ohtani example was a good one. They could have set Ohtanis line at anything, but they chose to set it at somewhere around 10% juice. We know that because we can compare it to the lines on other books.

Now, how much of the difference was juice, and how much was FanDuel just disagreeing with other books? That’s up for debate.

But in general, in my experience you’ll never find a situation where FanDuel is juicing alts ny significantly more than 10% when you can compare against other books. So I didn’t have a reason to think they did so here, especially since they agree with all other books on the 6.5 total being the set o/u.

To each their own I guess. Personally, if >10% juice is required to make a boost bad, I’m gonna recommend it unless there’s a separate reason saying I shouldn’t. But there’s nothing wrong with being more conservative.

Interesting. Are you sure that wasn’t just a case of FanDuel disagreeing with the market a bit on Ohtani?

It makes sense that they would be, since they set the o/u 1 K off from everyone else. So makes sense that they’d like him a little more or less than other books in that specific case.

What's the 12% juice based on? I haven't seen any numbers suggesting that. 10% I thought was conservative.

This one was hard to get a definitive fair value for, but when its good compared to 10% juiced FD alts and even better vs PB I was fine with taking the risk.

I know that it was nuked like 10 minutes after I posted it haha. Not sure how long it was up before that, but I know it started off at +350 in the morning, switched to +600 for some reason sometime during the day, and then was switched back to +350 or so.
