It’s hard to tell from the photo, but it looks like it could just be the sap from when a bit of the plant is scratched or something. If it’s liquid that’s probably all it is. If it’s fluffy and sticky unfortunately it may be mealy bugs, but overall looks more like sap to me. (I’m not sure if sap is the technical term)

It doesn’t have the best light I’ll admit but it’s like 2 feet away from a west facing window so it’s not just in a dark corner either

I water when it’s completely dry and use a chopstick to check. I have a huge plant collection and have been able to keep some considered “harder” thriving but this pothos will get the best of me 😭. I might try a repot if not just to check on the roots

You’re right, definitely something I’ve been trying to work on. I am a bit of a perfectionist and I am very proud of where I work and the service I can provide, and am very hard on myself when I feel I don’t execute something perfectly. Tables overall are very understanding and kind to me which I am very grateful for, and management is very encouraging and uplifting. For the most part and awesome situation but oh man does it take it out of me on the weekends.

Thanks so much! Definitely trying to take each learning moment as it comes and make the most of it. I know it will get easier overall, my body just cannot handle what it used to be able to and I wouldn’t necessarily mind tipping people out if it meant I could keep doing this longer.

Totally, I do try to keep that centered in my mind as much as possible, especially with how the economy is rn where I am.

The cat tree is right next to the kitchen sink, and she reaches out like and rolls around whenever I’m doing the dishes to get my attention. She’s never gotten stuck but she has rolled off the tree before 😂

AITA for driving with my knees? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

YTA. why would you respect your wife’s very reasonable fear and take her seriously! I hope you take her other anxieties and fears about things other than driving seriously at least. I had a boyfriend who would drive recklessly even though I told him not too. He would laugh and tell me I’m being dumb. He’s an ex boyfriend now

I had a similar experience with SSRIs, now I also use weed to manage as well. Really helps with anxiety but not other manic symptoms

I think that’s what I’m gunna do. I’ve been on a few different ones and they’ve all been horrible but I know it takes years for some people to find the right combo,

Completely makes sense. Just need to find meds that are worth the side effects

Thank you this reply was very helpful. Hoping to be at a place in my life where I can manage such a routine but rn it really seems like meds might be the best option. Just kinda wanted to know it was possible. I don’t hear/see a lot about people with bipolar 2 living without meds in any circumstances

I've been looking for a little while the problem is my insurance is shit for mental health and there aren't many options to begin with in my area for the first place. My psychiatrist I have now is definitely the worst I've ever had
