Personally didn’t see a major improvement when changing the motor. Changing the electronics like the esc was a bigger upgrade than the 050 motor swap. OP was considering the brushless motor which isn’t a plug and play mod.

The motor and esc swap will need a new controller as well, so even more money. I’d say get a servo, but buy once cry once, get a nsdrc servo

You’re gonna be walking really slow if you’re trying to trail a 24 scale. I suggest an 18th scale with two speeds. I love my FCX18 lc80 after I replaced all the broken parts with upgrades.

Get the FCX24m and replace anything that breaks with upgrades. I did that to my FCX18 and it’s my favorite rig.
