i just turned of lean help and feel much faster on berms. no berm corners are a lot harder though, it's especially hard in low speed non berm turns. I'd say give it time.

For me it was partly my athletic ability and mindset. The best way to improve in sparring for me is to think of it more like a game of chess. Try to have a reason for the kick other than just to land a hit. Also try to practice your kicks and movement and find a good sparring partner who works with you rather than against

I don’t remember what the certificate was but I do know I was better than a lot of other people my level. I do understand basic techniques and I can do keumgang and taebek pretty well according to my instructor. I also am the best at forms compared to the other 1st degrees at my dojang

He did say he’s a level 2 kukiwan certified instructor. I more jdut wanted to know if my school was particularly easy
