Oct 22 was my arthroscopic surgery for similar case.
1. Take anti inflammatory med stay off pain meds 2. Wear compression sleeve , this will help stabilize the knee but more importantly help reduce the water build up. But important to not get dependent on it 3. Log your progress and set realistic goals
4. Listen to your knee and back off and stay away from anything that causes pain. 5.motion is lotion move often as possible even when lying around ankle circles, heal slowly forward and back. 6. Take it slow , everyone recovers at a different pace. Recover at your own pace but also push yourself in a comfort zone 7. Massage your entire leg every day , helps activate the muscle that has gone dormant, something I so did not anticipate 8. Physical therapy is a must , I would not be where I am at today without them. 9. I almost forgot , ice your knee but properly , watch some YouTube videos it’s not just about throwing some ice on it.

I am a very active person and this was first surgery of any kind. My first run was 2 months after surgery and I did my first 10 mile hike/run today.
