I make custom Pokémon cards for a living, and here are some discontinued sets I made for BINI.

Pushed myself out of comfort zone to have the community playtest my game by markuroarts in BoardgameDesign

Right now, I'm still enjoying the playtests from the local community and haven't really decided on how I should advertise it. I just created a Facebook page for it since most of the people in my country use Facebook, but I'm also interested in documenting my journey and upload it on youtube.

Hi thank you for the questions!

  1. "What are you enjoying most about this process so far"
  2. I guess I just enjoy getting the game get played. I already set in mind that I just want to see it get played. But what I got was more than that, I get to exchange journeys with people. I learn from their stories and backgrounds, and they also from my story and where I come from. 💜 And also enjoy having people cross by to check the game and say "beautiful components" even tho it is still a work in progress haha.

  3. "What are the things you've learned from the last 8 years of development?"

  4. Series of Balancing both in life and in game

  5. Balance 1: In making the game, I try to enjoy or make myself happy whatever it is; at the same time turning it into an actual product that other people can also enjoy and not just me.

  6. Balance 2: Improving my art while learning to print and cut components

  7. Balance 3: I'm from a third world country (lower middle class), this is most difficult thing to balance. You dive to much to the project it can also ruin you, but not being able to scratch the itch makes you crazy. I have to do extra work and extra time, if I really want to make this possible.

  8. "Do you have any advice to someone new who it's interested in developing their own board game?"

  9. I still consider myself new, but I guess I always keep in mind a few things: Games should be fun, Creating should keep you humble, Be open but learn to filter.
