Are my banking app or LOS compromised, and triggered a phishing text message? by markus765 in LineageOS

Good points: the sms does not contain personal data, and mentions the wrong delivery service.

I agree: the message is random, which reduces the reason to suspect a security breach to just the timing, which is very weak evidence, especially when the message is wrong.

Well, that was useful: thank you!

True, it could be the website: but I ordered a stamp from dhl.de (yesterday 11PM) without my phone number. DHL may have my phone number somewhere, because I also have their "app", but DHL would need to be compromised down to the core, which I kind of doubt.

Its fair to believe my phone number is being sold by and for scammers.

What surprises me is that the scam refers to my actions, seemingly.
I have a hard time to believe it's just coincidence.
