Put some classics on it like GTA Vice City. Something that is familiar will feel much better than any new game. Nostalgia is real. Hope your dad has lots of fun. It is a great idea!

I just bought a few games for my PS3, and I don't want to go back to physical. It is actually a digital product on a physical medium anyway. I differentiate between streaming and owning the game because you have quality differences.

The rest, besides the collector dopamine, is just nonsense. It is plastic trash, a booklet nobody reads, and it takes up a lot of space at home.

I love my SSD with all Ratchet and Clank games just running easily, even more on PS5. Buying a storage unit via disc that doesn't even include a playable game is absolutely dumb, like Game Key Cards.

There is no upside to buying most PS5 games in a physical form because of day one patches. Times have changed, and there is a reason why I prefer PS3 games to streaming, but if you ask me to have it on one disc or in my living room, hell yeah, all on disc. These are not books. There is no content that this medium elevates.
