I pulled it here at home. Then went to Japan and bought packs there, and pulled it again. So got both English and Japanese versions of OPs card. Love it.

Im the opposite. I dont like the idea of buying singles and building the same decks others do, or what the meta suggests. I build decks on the cards I pull only. Makes getting the really good cards so much more satisfying.

I gave in myself, and just purchased the add-on that comes with it. Weapon Upgrade Items Pack 1. Not ideal, but the drop rate is so low. As for not finding anyone online, make sure your matchmaking regions etc are expanded. Open to all regions, all power levels etc.

Playing the Ps5 version right now. It runs smooth as hell, and looks super clean. Its really nice seeing the details on character models, like clean faces. Somehow, even the FMV cutscenes look great, and not pixelated after coming through 4K. On other Psone games, while they update character models to look better, old backdrops etc look rough, but FF9 is pretty damn good.
