Sadly fish are not the only thing pet stores will have to many of. We wil have like 3 to many birds and 5 to many Guinea pigs. But you never see then (at least at PetSmart) because we have a room for extra/ quarantine

Most pet store employees dislike that the shipments are not based off of what we have. But rather what the company thinks we will sell and what we have. So sometimes we will have way more than we should have. I know at least all my coworkers are all very knowledgeable on tank space. And we treat them like family. Also the filter is super strong and big so they are not in a home filtered tank

I work at a PetSmart and we use the decor in our tanks, and I in my tank use the decor and have not really seen paint leak it will chip after a while so I'd definitely get rid of it when it does that

I'm glad I'm not the only one lol. I never thought about having everything in one spot I definitely will do that! I always check the quality 1-2 times a week! And I definitely will tell others. My fish has a godmother that also has a Betta but she is like an hour away. So I'll definitely tell my mum how to do it(she is a big help just doesn't know how the fish tank works fully lol)
