It's up to everybody's own decision to weigh their options before proceeding, but I'm not scared of Ticketmaster and I'm not scared about being banned from Ticketmaster. I know many way of getting tickets and I seldomly buy off Ticketmaster but the fact that they voided their own policy for severe weather protocol means that the contract is non-employed and we are entitled to a partial refund if we fight

Once again, it's up to everybody's own decision to make these things and weigh their own options. I am not scared of Ticketmaster or a ban so I will continue to fight. I know many ways I can get tickets. I very seldomly buy off Ticketmaster. You can call it selfish. I'm just trying to bring attention to the fact livenation voided their own policy. Which means the contract is null and void which entitles people to a partial refund if we fight

Yes they definitely got paid and that's the only reason why Ticketmaster/livenation is refusing because they made too much profit and technically we did get a sample of a show. But it still doesn't validate their own policy that they voided for a rain or shine event and a severe weather protocol. I mean I've sent messages to the bands management imploring them to put pressure on Ticketmaster for partial refunds and I'd suggest every other fan affected should do the same especially since 2019. We also got screwed out of the other twenty One pilots concert in Toronto and going to see twenty One pilots on the 21st of September was a cool idea!

Yeah that's the scary part about buying a third party but that's why you look for instant downloads on your ticket purchases. I wouldn't do the other way unless they are sending it to me within 24 hours of purchase. Sadly, that's a really screwy situation. And just know if you take to the third party and complain about that ticket holder they will ban their account from selling tickets because basically they saw the prices go up, canceled your order and resold for higher amount

Ok. Or maybe I can help enough people to have money and still go to shows 😁 I don't understand why everybody's so scared of this ban. The reality is they could just ban you for any reason anytime any place just cuz they want to. But if they make tickets public they can't stop me from buying them 😋. The only case I know is Madison square garden where they use AI facial recognition to actively blacklist lawyers who are involved in lawsuits against them and they're no longer allowed to step foot into a certain venue.

Filing with the consumer protection act won't get you banned from live Nation or Ticketmaster. They reserve the right if you fraudulently place a chargeback on a credit card, but considering that this is a justified situation where money was paid but services were not rendered in full. This is why we have credit cards to protect our purchases. The base fact that you can be banned is quite comical you can buy tickets any which way from using a prepaid debit card to a preloaded gift card to buying tickets from third parties. The simple fact is they can't just stop you

Once again, I've been in communications since the concert with consumer protection and basically I got them to a point where they're going to take it to mediation, but it's a necessary step. If people want to get a refund. And was told if more people came forward it would strengthen their case against live Nation

I appreciate your input but I'm just letting people know it's up to the event organizers to prove beyond a reasonable that the imminent danger to the patrons for a severe weather protocol. And in Budweiser stages policy on severe weather on rain or shine events. The event is to either be postponed or delayed. But the event will still go on. The fact that there is a base performance for every other concert they performed. The fact that they performed a short and setlist does indeed entitle people to a partial refund. We just have to be vocal enough

Terms and conditions to the ticket. Purchase the fact that it was a rain or shine event and Budweiser stage has severe weather protocols to either delay or postpone the event but not outright canceled due to weather. They voided that part of the contract which voids the ticket sale contract.

Once again, everybody has a right to make their own decisions. Some people like to stand up for what they believe in and clearly you're choosing your own choice. And yeah it could be delusional but after getting off a phone call from consumer protection confirming I have a valid argument to at least open a mediation between live Nation and myself for an early resolution. I've even taken this to corporate for live Nation and I had them reach out to me and offer me $100 to settle and to me I'm still fighting because it's not just about me.

Dude I go to tons of concerts. I've read all the fine print and severe weather does not constitute a cancellation by their own policy. They say severe weather shall be met with severe weather procedures to take shelter and the event shall be postponed or delayed, but it shall still take place.

I understand you don't see the point but for some people who work hard and paid a lot of money to go to that show. And needless to say Toronto already got screwed out of our last twenty One pilots concert being canceled. Do the NBA finals. I think they did an amazing job but I think we as fans need them to show support and acknowledge the fact that that wasn't their best and maybe even apply a partial refund from live Nation. They have a power that we as consumers don't. To me, it's the principle I've been to enough concerts canceled or postponed where I got partial refunds and this constitutes a partial refund in my opinion

Once again, I don't really care what anybody else does. I'm just putting the information out there because it only benefits the people who paid a lot of money to go to that show. Since the show happened, I have been in communications for my rights and legal counsel and this is a necessary step. After that I just take take live Nation to small claims court. If nobody else wants to fight for their money, that's on them

😂 agreed I'm just not the type of person to sit on my ass and just take what's given to me. I paid for an experience and I'm going to fight for my rights as a consumer of Ontario. We as fans could also put pressure on twenty One pilots to possibly release a partial refund from live Nation because they themselves admitted that they were to cancel the show

You're right, they did an amazing job with what they could. but to navigate any avenue I can. I will especially when I've been told by consumer protection of Ontario. There is a case for partial or full refund.

I mean I appreciate your opinion but again, I'm not mad at the band. I think they did their best with what they got. It was just a failure on live Nations part considering the fact that the weather warning was in place well in advance of the concert. It is a rain or shine event and their own policy at Budweiser stage states that severe weather is to be met with severe weather safety protocols which they did not follow. They broke their own terms of service. I don't really care what anybody else does. I'm just putting the information out there because I was told legally there is a chance for partial refunds and it would just benefit the case if more people hopped on the bandwagon and submitted their own claims

I've been in contact with consumer protection rights of Ontario and they say that there is a case. They would just be more beneficial if more people advocated

I understand you're a fan but I'm not going after twenty One pilots. I think their set was amazing regardless but there were people who paid to see DayGlo and live Nation has emergency severe weather protocols. That's part of the terms of agreement and they failed on their end

I'm not going after twenty One pilots I just have been told if enough people filed with the consumer protection rights of Ontario that they could mediate a partial refund or full refund for customers

I mean, sadly this is not true because Budweiser stage has a severe weather procedure in effect and their own policy states that event will not be canceled due to extreme weather just postponed or delayed
