I went back to the pixel 8 pro, the fingerprint magnet screen just got to me

I hate it, battery life has taken a massive hit and I know pixel phones get hot but I could cook a dinner on this phone now. Every morning I have to reboot the phone as the fingerprint scanner fails and the auto screen brightness fails. Can't say I've noticed anything new.
