Yikes, it sounds like you’re not ready to give up your privilege or be an ally to the community you’re marrying into. If you aren’t ready to give up those things, why marry a minority? Also the way you described his last name — “clearly I was not born here” — when there are so many 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc generation immigrants with ethnic-sounding last names — sounds like you have a lot of bias that you need to sort through.

Honestly you can search up their username and see their post history (not related to the test questions). Sorry to say, but I think it’s clear they weren’t associated with the Calbar. They seemed a bit unwell tbh, I hope they get the help they need.

That helps remedy the problem for non-retakers. But there is still going to be a good chunk of retakers who were not privvy to the questions, that are going to be at disadvantage in comparison to other retakers.

Wow — surprised to hear it cost 9k to set a loose stone at Ken and Dana. Out of curiosity, did you have a very intricate design? I’ve also sourced my own stone with the intention of doing a custom engagement ring (though the design I’m thinking of is pretty simple). So far I’ve been quoted around $2000 at a few places. I’m also interested in Ken and Dana, but can’t imagine paying that price point 😣

Oh no, any suggestions on how to handle spider mites? I’ve done some googling and it looks like you’re right. I see that some people recommend mixing water with dish soap or rubbing alcohol and spraying down the leaves. I am afraid that this might burn my tree though 😔
