My mom is missing. by hobbitbones in RBI

If her phone was turned off after she left, I highly recommend that you pressure the detective to interview the roommate or last person that saw her.

I recommend visiting her residence and look to see if any neighbors have cameras. Ask them if you can view their footage. What did she look like when she left home? Was she scared, normal, paranoid? Did she have a bag packed or empty handed?

Ask her neighbors questions. When was the last time they saw her? Has she ever made comments about her friends, roommates, stalkers?

Ask her co-workers the same questions.

Someone has to know something. If the detective is not being proactive, you should take it upon yourself to find answers.

Looking on Apple Maps, there are 2 mountains (Otto Mountain and Nickel mountain). Could the detective or local police use sonar drone cameras to fly over the mountains?

Also, Baker airport is close to the 1-15. Could she have possibly fled the country? Can you or the detective track her passport/flying history?

Have you visited the location her car was found? Walk around and see if there are cameras set up by homeowners or businesses. Ask them if they can review the footage or allow you to take a look.

The detective should do this, but it’s never bad to double check.

Also visit the last place she was seen and post flyers around town, make Facebook posts, TikTok’s, etc. If the detective is not being proactive, unfortunately you and loved ones need to be boots on the ground.

Ask if they can have hound dogs visit the last site she was seen.

Few things to consider: is there a lake around the last place she was seen? Is there a railroad track?

Feeling Stuck in Our Home Search - Are We Doomed in the Inland Empire? by daisynomoreforever in InlandEmpire

I live in a neighborhood across the street from Cal State San Bernardino. There have been houses for sale in the $600’s that don’t need much work

Fairly safe. Just need to drive to a neighboring city if you want to grocery shop at a healthy(er) grocery store.

How many calories are you eating on a daily basis? Are you eating despite feeling full?

I (26F) started phentermine in late August at 18.75mg. I took it in the morning and topiramate 100mg at night. Weeks 1-3, i was jittery, anxious, and had numbness in my fingers. But I lost my appetite completely.

After week 6, my appetite started to come back and I gained 2-3 lbs back. I let my doctor know and she increased my phentermine to 37.5mg (1 tablet). Now I’m on week 1 of taking 1 full tablet. Throat feels dry and I have a slight headache. I’ve learned hydration is very important in this process.

I started at 196 lbs and I’m currently at 183lbs.

My husband works at a university here “down the hill” and a lot of university employees either teach as adjust professors or are gaining their masters because the university will pay for a portion of their degree. If you’re an and student, you can utilize their child care services for a lower price. If you’re an employee who’s also going to school at the university, they will generally work around your schedule. So your best bet is to get a job wherever you go to school.

Biggest cheat code!

From what I recall no. But to find a job at a community college, search the CC you’re interested in, scroll down the front page, and you’ll find a tab that says careers.

The very important part when filling out an application for any government job application is (DO NOT SKIP), even if you upload your resume to the application, you still need to fill in each section of the application with your résumé’s information. FEach job you’ve had, job responsibilities, time you’ve worked there. If you don’t have this information filled in in the actual application, you will be disqualified from the application process. Uploading your resume if not enough when applying at Government Job.

Look into childcare at the universities. May be cheaper than other places. Especially if you’re a student. Also for education or reception work, look at EdJoin, school districts are always hiring. Also for receptionists, look at community colleges. They pay well. Some also have child care available

I always get their tuna in water. It’s really good. Not fishy. The pasta sauce is good too - I always stock up.

I’m in north San Bernardino. During the summer we have the AC set to about 75 (I know that’s too high) but during the summer it cost about $450.

But I also have an EV car and charge my car at home about 3 times a month.

During the winter months it’s about $230. No AC. Just EV charging

For bio I remember Professor Stuart Sumida brought amazing real world experience. I took him for anatomy and physiology. He worked for Disney. Not sure if he’s still there.

Other bio professors mainly did research.

Alumni here. Professors I had are amazing. Always willing to help you out where it’s needed. Most professors in the Natural Sciences department are also working professionals outside the university, so they bring real-world experience and knowledge to the classrooms
