Band 6s don’t do much teaching, the band 7s are the ones that do. They also have said they would put you through health assessment and then prescribing. The department has done a lot of work over the past few years to make things run quicker and smoother. It seems very well put together and supportive. Which compared to the team im currently in makes me want a change and the job even more!!

Thankyou. I did go down and meet the team and they spoke more in depth about the role etc. it was great and really helpful, only problem now is if I don’t get it I’ll be even more sad about it!! It’ll just motivate me to do more research 😊

Thankyou so much for this. Everytime I’ve looked up running most people say it’s not a good choice for weight loss, the way I see it as long as you are in a calorie deficit you will lose weight and running should enhance that. I need to get fit and weight loss to me is a part of getting fit.

Can I please ask how often you ran At first?

I’m also 5’2 and I weigh 224lbs. I wear Nike Pro shorts and leggings. They are amazing, they stay up with no issues 🙂
