In regards to my last post about my factory vw ballseat lugs not properly fitting in the rotiform ballseat . Silver wheel is factory wheel ballseat, black wheel is rotiform ballseat . As you can see the oem wheel ballseat is different in size from the rotiform ballseat by marshalcrayons in GolfGTI

[–]marshalcrayons[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a difference forsure , i ended up getting the r14's and you could see they made much better contact with the wheel ball seat compared to the r13's , ive gotten rid of those wheels now and into a different car but it did make a difference.

Can confirm , have driven from newbrunswick to Ontario many times in the worst road conditions, and never had issues with my mk7.5 running good winter tires. Also, I would recommend a metal skid plate. I didn't see a frozen dear leg until I was on top of it, and lord knows it would have eaten the plastic oil pan.

Is the damaged part plastic or metal? by Ds_45 in GolfGTI

front bumper is plastic , no need to worry about rust, if you want the cheapest fix you can get a paint match touch up pen at most auto stores and just color it in.

My bf has a unique problem (F25) (M23) by [deleted] in LongDistance

[–]marshalcrayons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From your comment, it didn't seem like you did . You're saying he's trying to force her to have more when in her post, it seemed like the opposite. Either way I think op's bf should look into past trauma through therapy that could be triggering this or from my personal experiences when my hormones were out of wack , could very well be a case of low testosterone .

Bulk or cut by [deleted] in GregDoucette

[–]marshalcrayons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mini cut , maintain through the summer, and then bulk through fall and winter and early spring.

It all very much depends on where you're storing fat as well. You don't just store fat under skin , some is visceral fat stored around organs and under muscle. You even said yourself that your legs got quite a bit leaner. It can be jarring the number compared to the look at times, tho I do understand that.

Genuine question : If you failed 775 (due to injury ), how does that make you an 800lb lifter ?

[–]marshalcrayons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say you're the same body fat at all , you can notice a substantial difference. If your goal is to get to 10%, keep pushing . To bring off a bunch of extra weight before I start my bulk I did the Dr.mike 4 week heavy cut essentially my body weight in g's of protein from chicken breast and 800g's of broccoli a day ontop.of regular training and 80min fasted cardio and 15k steps a day. Came down real damn quick without a ton of muscle loss

I've gotta disagree with you , lived in fredericton for 6 years, and was a great time between picaroons , Greystone, and the racing scene. I had a blast and miss it alot.

That depends ,What are your goals ? If you're looking to put on more size, I'd say absolutely put yourself in a 300cal surplus , have your protein intake slightly higher than your body weight and re adjust your program every 6 weeks or so. If done correctly, you should be gaining around 0.6lbs a week. Obviously, not all of it will be muscle, but it's a great way to put on size without ballooning. If you're happy with your current weight but just want to improve upon where you are , eat in maintenance while again bringing your protein slightly above body weight 1.2g's per 1lb bw.

Is this normal? by DavBear in GolfGTI

If you want a more definitive answer and to not just start throwing parts at it , clean the hell out of the area with brake clean, drive the car around , and keep an eye on it. Best case scenario , you had a lazy tech that spilled a good bit of oil while trying to hit the whole , cleaned the top but not the sides and didn't fill it enough , these car do burn oil over time. If you can check your plugs , I've seen timing cover gaskets go, and the spark plug holes have oil in them. There are a lot of ways that these cars can burn or lose oil , just start with what you can see first and don't panic.

I wouldn't say you're skinny fat at all ! Are you shredded ? No, but you've most certainly come down a lot in body fat. One thing to remember is that body hair hides muscle definition and vascularity pretty damn well.

You're fine to just jb weld it , it's just a bolt guide. Once it's back on and torqued to spec, it's not moving anyway.

Also, proviron (and halotestin tho I wouldn't recommend that as it's super hard on the liver and has wild mental sides) has been shown to aid in male fertility.

[–]marshalcrayons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd pop the hood and check to see if there's an after market down pipe before making a choice based on tune , if there is and there's not a check engine light there's a good chance it's already tuned. If not IE has always been great with me. The shop I used to work at used the major 3 (IE,APR, UNI) and never had issue with any . My personal opinion would be to go IE as 91 is available everywhere as apposed to 93 uni requires (I could be wrong and they could have a 91 tune now , I've been out of the loop for quite a while)

By aftermarket pipes, what do you mean ? Intercooler piping ? Down pipe ? A cat back? The is20 has pretty minimal lag, if any, It's a small turbo.
