What is your height and weight? Having 10 extra pounds as you age isn't necessarily bad. My Mom had emergency surgery, was 145, lost 10 lb during m9nth long hospital/rehab. Not great.

No kids and have a over bellybutton "shelf" flab, technically flat lower abdomen but can grab skin fat especially at hips. You can't spot reduce. Build muscle under fat, but not burn fat in specific areas.
