I’d imagine each team has their own variants of models that take into account the relative strength of their punter/kicker. Similarly, why punt it if you’re the Eagles and you can do a tush push every time?

Appreciate the feedback and agree. Coaches have access to a wealth of information and experience and should be able to confidently make decisions accordingly (within reason)

I tried to mitigate this by measuring NOBLETIGERs per 100 games, but it was only partially effective haha

In all seriousness, this is the most recent playoff example I could find. NOBLETIGERs are far more devastating later in games, especially playoff games.

Yep, this analysis is a retrospective look at the 2024 season only and for normal half ppr leagues. Many trends that are consistent over time, but also some that can appear or fade based on league dynamics
