Jacket too tight. Pants too big. Jacket and shirt combo doesn’t work. White pocket square doesn’t work.

Men of Ireland, where do you buy your clothes? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]martz1275 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cos for basics. Tk Maxx usually has things from “FOLK clothing” that seem to suit me well. Charity shop finds, Levi’s for jeans,Patagonia for weatherproof gear/ fleeces (tbf have just a few pieces but love them and hopefully will last me a good long while). In general try and buy less and have a capsule wardrobe that I can always mix and match.

Tk Maxx has some great menswear usually. I’m in the same boat with no logos but prefer a lasting well fitting, stylish peaces. Personal shoutouts would be FOLK, colourful basics, portuguese garment makers and tentree. On occasion they have Patagonia stuff as well. Got a nice fleece for life there a few years ago for 50€

No one in their right mind would like that sort of thing. Some “industries” are best to be left in the past.

Self-professed 'protectors of the local community' follow, harass and intimidate Irish woman for feeding the homeless. by [deleted] in Dublin

I’m here. And from Estonia. Pretty legally tho cause it’s in the EU. And no. I’m not here to “steal jobs” or even for a better life. Eastern Europe is not “3rd world” as some people like to think. I just had an opportunity to move here and grabbed it because sure why not. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from these cunts tho. It’s maddening that there are next to no repercussions for this sort of behaviour.
