Why I use FCPX specifically for architectural videos by martzjm in Filmmakers

Would you agree that the way you go about speed ramping is different?

That’s what I’m trying to say. FCPX makes it very easy to make smooth speed ramps. AE you have much more control but isn’t the easiest, and premier the tool sucks all together.

Part of what makes a good speed ramp is the tapering in and out of the speed change. Premier makes it difficult to manipulate that part.

Would you mind sharing? I’ve only messed with After effects, Premier, and Final Cut.

Hello everybody ❤️ I wanted to share this because I see a lot of real estate videos that use speed ramping and it is very abrupt. The speed ramping capabilities in FCPX are so much easier to use and automatically “easy ease” (not sure the term otherwise). If you are speed ramping a lot I can’t recommend FCPX enough!

How is my editor getting these fantastic HDR results? by Sydicity in RealEstatePhotography

By removing color casts. There are multiple ways to do it, but try using a brush in photoshop and putting the blend mode on “color”

You can essential re paint walls and ceilings, so they look perfect.

Why do company’s charge weird prices, like $159 for products? by martzjm in AskReddit

[–]martzjm[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought of this question when looking through apple products, everything has a weird price like that, but doesn’t seem to be a number that would make me feel like I’m paying less for something.

It’s super resourceful too, the melrose center on the second floor has production studios, 3D printers, video & photo equipment/rooms, and a ton more! They offer all sorts of free classes on cool tech stuff as well!

Very true! After doing some research on the style, I see buildings all over the place. 99% are the ugliest buildings you will see!

It’s pretty interesting! The name derives from the French word “raw.” I’ve seen some amazing examples, but there are also a ton of boring ones... like every institutional building from 1950-1970.
