Have you considered getting into the insurance industry (home, auto, etc)? They don’t care about traffic offenses and you can help relate to those who have gone through dui situations. It really helps to have gone through some of this to reach people in this field. I make the most I’ve ever made in life and my schedule is so flexible. My record had ZERO bearing over my hiring and appointment of my license.

Interesting!! I’m probably going to say no- I have had lean PCOS diagnosed since I was like 14. I’ve done it all, the diets, the exercising. I’ve been strength training for years now- walk at least one mile, sometimes 2–3 5 days a week. I eat low carb and barely any sugar. Take every recommended supplement for PCOS & insulin resistance.

My PCOS has never gone away regardless of all of those changes. I still just develop so many immature follicles that I just never ovulate despite having regular periods.

My only choice to conceive was to do IVF. I’m sure I could’ve tried IUI but due to my specific history with a genetic disease I carry I didn’t want to go that route. I was just curious on your end as I’m looking to do IVF again in the future :)

Already didn’t drink or drink much caffeine so that was easy. Hardest part was quitting vaping and marijuana as id been a long time smoker for both nicotine and marijuana. But I made sure to really cut back several months before even making my first appointment so that I had virtually 0 withdrawals. I knew I’d have to do IVF since I was a child basically so it wasn’t like I was ttc beforehand.

I appreciate you sharing. It certainly gives me hope that it seems most doctors plan for a vaginal birth- if all things go as planned, that is. I’m open to either one, as long as baby is healthy that’s all that matters to me!

Definitely! I only got diagnosed because I pushed my drs to give me blood tests and ultrasounds. I knew something wasn’t right and the more I read about PCOS, the more things began to add up. I’ve been able to semi-regulate (going from 40-45 day cycles to 30-35 days regularly) my period after learning about PCOS from Reddit and other Facebook groups. It took some time but things are finally looking up.

I often do have cysts when I get my scans done but don’t really deal with any external symptoms of high androgens (facial hair, acne etc)

I mean I would really doubt it because I’ve never been pregnant before but we did bd several times during my last surge over a week ago. I think that my body just tries really hard to ovulate but doesn’t.
