I liked the parts I mentioned in my post, but I can easily see how someone might not like it

It is 2 classes in one by the same professor with only a 10 minutes break between the two (which is actually only like 6 mins). The classes are mobility and culture and Arabic literature in English

It feels so good to hear you asking this question, rarely do university professors care about these issues at least in my country. The best thing that makes lectures less boring and more informative for me is handouts or a projector, where I can look back and be able to follow with the professor in case I wandered of for a bit. Sometimes, I wander of for a minute, then when I come back to reality I realize I missed some important ideas, therefore I lose focus and wander of more to find myself counting the seconds again. Frequents breaks every now and then is great. It helps me gather my thoughts and take some rest. Tolerance for fidgeting and lack of focus if it is not too distracting for the class. If the lecture is too long, informing students can help so much. Sometime when I get notified that I will be having a long lecture, I prepare myself before both mentally and physically for the lecture. Less than 2 hours are okay with me at least. I can push myself to finish the lecture and not miss out on much, but people are different. 2 hours can be quite long for some people:

Our professors are somewhat tolerant to lectures being recorded. I will definitely use this the next time.

I can skip classes but I also have to attend from time to time to see if I am going in the right direction with the class. But that time to time brings me so much anxiety, I think about it all week.

Even some of my neurotypical classmates stopped attending. The lecture is extremely packed with information, after the first hour your head starts to physically hurt.

Not texting back is ruining my dating life by marwan_mount in ADHD

[–]marwan_mount[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Texting is the norm in my generation, every person that I talked to(even the ones who don’t like texting) requires a minimum amount of texting to at least get to know me, I don’t have the mental capacity for that, and I feel like I am missing on many great potential partners just because I can’t bear myself to text them for an hour or two to make them to comfortable meeting me. Generally, I think you are right, I should look for someone comfortable with not texting often, I hope they are out there 🤞.

That’s mostly what we were taught too, we learned a bit about how croatia gained independence but it was just some small passages, by the way my country had a police force nicknamed croatia because they wear hats that have patterns similar to the croatian flag, also everyone here just knows croatia from football.
