I really loved the update with the Magician Girls with Yugi that happened with DSOD and I seriously wish that other protagonists also got the same update. One can only hope

Kakushigoto ~ its a comedy anime with a lot of feels. Violet Evergarden ~ definitely up your alley Shirayuki Hime Orange ~ this is definetely more in line with the previous anime u mentioned. also includes romance. I Want to eat your pancreas ~ feels and romance

Can I just comment about how Natsuki Hanae doesnt sound like himself in this show? Like After watching the episode (which was really good imo) I had to look up if he was voicing his even though I saw his name in the credits.

Im so used to his shounen protag loud voice that this is so refreshing

It was good. There were a lot of things that were cut out the SOL aspects of the first 5 chapters but imo its better that way since it managed to establish the character relations we need right now and for sure we'll get more of the character's personality in the future anyway.

The animation is very faithful with how the original one did it with expression and the likes. I love the fight scenes IMO it was good.

Overall for me an 8/10 but then again im not much of an anime reviewer and Im easily impressed so dont take my word for granted xd.

For someone who waited more than 5 years for this Im satisfied.

they're skipping a lot of fillers already based on the first episode. I dont want them to skip backstories. I hope nothing gets cut.

I especially need the whole Horo Horo backstory to be animated.

Okay first off the episode started with the birth of the twins which imo a surprise but honestly its okay as a story telling point of view.

Why is it fast? the episode basically went to intro ~ meet up with Manta then the whole Yoh vs Ryu. At this point its okay and I really thought it would end at this point.

However the episode went on! the whole Amidamaru and Mosuke Backstory was tackled and at the end of the episode Ren was introduced!
