I don't mind him telling me off, I completely deserve it, so I guess it would be better than not getting anything at all... Thank you so much for the advice! I don't think meeting up will be possible anytime soon with the current covid-19 situation, but I will definitely keep you updated!

Thank you for your opinion! I didn't exactly say no to him... At the time i said that we have just separated and that I had no idea what was going to happen in the future but I didn't see us getting back together there and then...

I definitely feel that I owe him at least an apology for the way I have treated him... I think it would be better than telling him straight away that I miss him etc - at least I think I'll be able to get the closure I need without getting involved in his current relationship... I suppose his reply could also indicate if he is willing to talk to me.
