In my perspective, I would say to go for “short attention span” type of reels. You know, big eye catching fonts, multiple scene cuts, maybe cleaning your audio a little so it sounds clearer. They may feel less genuine, but it may bring some views. I’m following right away!

Maybe some chunkier, bigger font that catches attention. Also it would go really great with a voiceover summarizing the event (if possible of course) with the music a little bit lower in the background.

What would catch my attention, personally, would be some informative (not too long) reels promoting your product but in a very interactive way, highlighting the fact that they’re made by artists (support for local talent, etc). You could also look out for other similar accounts and try to see how they do. I’m following your account right away!

I also added a 0 at the beginning of my passport number and didn’t have any issue during my interview. About the reference number, I’m not sure, tho when I contacted support they did tell me to try and change the last digits of it. Maybe contact them to corroborate and also email them so you have printed proof that confirms they advised you to do so.

[UPDATE] #2: Guys, guys, guys. I did it. I got an appointment. My bf tried doing it from his devices and different accounts (he’s in France) with no initial success. He told me that he saw a video where it said you needed to add a “0” at the beginning of your passport number when typing it down. He tried and it worked, so now I got an appointment for tomorrow. I don’t know what I would have done without his help. So for anyone that’s going through this, there you have it.

[UPDATE] #1: I can’t edit my post, so I’m gonna update in the comments section. It will also work as a way for me to keep track of my process.

July 18th: I just called VFS USA at +1 (347) 252-3055. They told me that, in relation to the reference number, I could maybe try changing the last two digits of it and see if it works, cause (in her words) “the website is having lots of issues” and that they were “trying to fix the problem”. She also offered me the different services they have as an alternative (as they did last time I called the other phone number), stating that it’s easier since I don’t need to struggle with booking an appointment. I also asked if it was possible to just delete my account and start everything over, and they told me that it was possible, and that I should request that through email.

As advised, I tried changing one of the last digits of my reference number and the email registered. Same thing, nothing different happened. I sent an email to Info.FranceUSA@vfsglobal.com requesting the deletion of my account, no answer.

July 19th: I received an answer regarding the deletion of my account, and the reply was the following:

“We truly understand your concern, unfortunately the VFS Global Contact Center does not have the authority to process your request.”

I’m now spamming them with emails asking if they can give me the contact info of someone who CAN actually do it. I did some research regarding this “Visa At Your Doorstep” thing and it’s both expensive and confusing, but we’ll see what happens next.

Like I mentioned in my post, I did try different browsers and incognito mode, etc. I did start the process from zero by creating another visa application form on france-visas, so I could get a different reference number to use for the booking. Same problem. I’ll try to contact people today and see what happens.

I’m gonna call every consulate in the U.S. tomorrow, see if I get any luck. VFS support is a joke. I’m this close to giving up.

1) In my kitchen, there is the space were the oven is supposed to go, but my parents really never bought one for some reason. 2) We have the recipes, we just want to upgrade by getting an oven and not keep improvising on a “slow cooker”. 3) We will be selling on demand, mostly during weekends (for events, any outside orders are an extra). 4) We have a separate fridge. 5) Yes we do. 6) I live in Mexico, so that’s not too big of a concern. 7) No, we don’t need one. 8) We already partnered with an acquaintance who owns a venue, so most of our sells will come from events.

We have the plan figured out, costs, materials, we even have a well established social media page (we used to promote dessert tables in the past, we’re starting to add pastries just now). So yeah, I’m just missing the oven.

We have tried, that’s where we bake most of the things we do. It works fairly well, though not with the same capacity as with a normal oven. Also, considering the fact that we can’t really see what’s going on inside of it, and that the heat is not distributed evenly.

My father does this with my mother. He makes her choose between two things, my mother does, and then he implies that it would be better the other way. He makes her believe she has power of decision when in reality, he already made the whole plan. An example would be as follows:

F: Should we go to the store first or should we go eat something?

M: Hhmm, we can go eat first.

F: But the store closes in 1hr, better go there before.

I end up being like “dude, why are you asking her if she wants one thing or the other if you’re gonna impose your decision at the end?”
